Beaufort, SC & Atlanta, GA
Hey y’all! I’m Loma, but most people call me Lo. I’m in the final months of my studies at Unity, majoring in Marine Biology and Sustainable Aquaculture. I live between South Carolina and Georgia, splitting my time between the vibrant city of Atlanta and the peaceful coastal town of Beaufort. Alongside my studies, I run my own photography company specializing in love photography, where I have the privilege of capturing special moments for couples. My professional life revolves around my work at the Georgia Aquarium, where I’ve gained valuable experience in marine conservation and public education, all while working alongside passionate individuals dedicated to the ocean.
When I’m not working or behind the camera, you can often find me traveling, exploring new restaurants, or spending time by or in the water. Whether it’s boating, jet skiing, or kayaking, I thrive in the outdoors, especially near the ocean. After graduation, I plan to merge my passions for marine biology and photography to contribute to marine conservation, focusing on sea turtle rehabilitation, tropical ecology, and whale sharks. I’m deeply drawn to underwater photography and documentary filmmaking, hoping to one day capture the beauty of the ocean and its creatures. My goal is to combine my knowledge of marine ecosystems with my creative vision, aiming to raise awareness and inspire positive change for the ocean’s future.
